Do you fantasize about being put in chastity by a Mistress but are uncertain how chastity phone sex might work? Though it is a bit more of a challenge than in-person chastity, it really is much easier to do than you think. It’s common to think there must be a physical key holder but the reality is, in this day and age of technology, there is really no need for that.

Chastity Phone Sex: Key Holding Alternatives

Since it’s not possible for the phone sex Mistress to physically hold a key, many would-be chastity pets don’t even bring up their love of chastity because they don’t think it is something that can be done. Or, on the flip side of the coin, some chastity pets seem to think having a Mistress holding a physical key is the only way to keep a chastity pet honest, but that isn’t the case at all.

Let’s take a look at just a few of the many options for long distance chastity key holding.

1. Plastic numbered locks – This is one of the cheapest, easiest, and most common option for long distance chastity control. It is also the most-recommended method, particularly for those just beginning their chastity journey. The chastity pet uses a numbered lock to secure the cage and sends a picture to Mistress as soon as the lock is secured.The chastity pet is then required to send a picture each day of the numbered lock with a unique phrase provided by Mistress to ensure the picture is current and the secure numbered lock is still in place. One of the biggest plusses of this particular (and my favorite) key holding alternative is that if there is an emergency or immediate need to be unlocked, it is as simple as snipping the plastic in two. While I am all about having chastity pets locked and under my control, I am also all about doing so responsibly.
2. Variable combination lock box – The variable combination lock box like realtors use is also a popular option as they are fairly cheap and still allow the chastity pet to use an actual key, which is important to many chastity pets as having an actual key holds great significance for them. For this method, the chastity pet locks up while on with Mistress, then puts the key inside the lock box and resets the combination, taking a pic and sending to Mistress. While this is quite exciting to many chastity pets since the only way they can unlock is with Mistress’s intervention, there are also downsides.One major downside is if there is an emergency that requires the chastity pet to unlock and they are unable to get in touch with Mistress for the combination. Another downside is if the Mistress records the combination incorrectly.
3. Internet-controlled lock box – This can also be an exciting option for many chastity pets and Mistresses alike, as they Mistress can lock and unlock the box remotely, via internet-control. This option gives the Mistress complete control over the pet’s chastity but it carries the some of the same downsides as the combination lock box as it requires Mistress interaction and intervention for release and if the Mistress is unavailable, the chastity pet is stuck.
4. Time release lock box – This is a desirable option for many chastity pets who struggle with staying locked for the predetermined amount of time as it allows the Mistress to increase the chastity duration little by little each time to build up the chastity pet’s stamina and mental fortitude. While this can be a useful tool, there is no way to unlock the box once the unlock date/time is set, so it is important to be reasonable when choosing the release date.
5. DIY water bottle lock box numbered lock – This is one of my favorite methods for my chastity pets as it is fairly cheap with the only expense being the plastic numbered locks and it gives the chastity pet an assignment prior to being locked in chastity. The assignment serves a dual purpose for the chastity pet: building anticipation and excitement surrounding being locked, and giving the pet an active role in surrendering control.

Is Chastity Key Holding a Thing of the Past?

Now that we’ve explored a few of the many key holding alternatives now available, does that make physical key holding a thing of the past, even for in-person chastity scenarios? I believe so. Even if a physical key is involved, as is a large part of the chastity experience for many chastity pets and Mistresses alike, there is no reason for the Mistress herself to have the key in her possession. The key can remain with the chastity pet using one of the alternatives above. If a physical key is not involved, even for in-person sessions, the use of a plastic numbered lock inspected by Mistress daily, is still one of the cheapest, easiest, and safest options for long-term chastity.

Chastity phone sex is really no different than in-person chastity sessions as far as the D/s dynamic and even the key holding options are pretty much the same. The most important thing with any type of chastity- even short-term chastity- is to have realistic expectations regarding the release date and to have open lines of communication, as the chastity pet will experience a barrage of emotions ranging from euphoria to regret and everything in between.
