I love drag queens.  There is something about them that, well- fascinates me.   I find their flamboyancy very entertaining and irresistible, so when happenstance channel surfing landed me on RuPaul’s Drag Race, my eyes were glued to that television screen like magnets!

If you haven’t yet had a chance to check it out, you still have time- the season just started.  The challenge each week starts with RuPaul announcing “Gentleman, start your engines- and may the best woman win”.  From that point on, all bets are off!! No more friendships or working together at that point- it’s every woman for herself!

Last week’s challenge was making outfits fit for a drag queen out of whatever curtain set they grabbed once they heard “Go”.  Suddenly, it was a free-for-all;  the gurls fighting over curtains, clawing and pulling hair; if I didn’t know better, I would have thought it was black Friday at Wal Mart!

There is no shortage of drama as the gurls work to sew their costumes using just the curtains and home decorating items.  Shangela whined because she didn’t know how to sew and begged Pandora Boxx for help, while Mystique whined that there wasn’t enough curtain to make a “plus-size girl outfit”.  Not long after the challenge started, “She-Mail” arrived with more instructions that proved to keep things interesting.

The best part is when the bottom two gurls are told this is their last chance to impress the judges, so they must “Lip Sync for Your Life.”  These gurls pull out all the stops, from stripping, to acrobatics, in their desperation to prove themselves.

Each week a different celebrity joins the panel of judges.  Last week, Kathy Griffin was fabulous and I am really looking forward to Dita von Tesse next week!

Okay, enough about that!  I’m off to keep spreading the love for the first annual LDW LoveFest on February 13th from midnight to midnight. Remember 24 hours of Cock Radio and Kinky Chat while your favorite Mistresses “Show you the Love!”

It just happens to fall on Mistress Day- something to keep in mind, where your favorite Mistresses are concerned.  Have you spotted all the hearts for the Love Hunt yet?
