With the change of seasons and winter upon is, it is more important than ever to have a good skin care regimen. I know you sissies know this and are waiting with anticipation to read my skin care tips, but you manly men need to take care of your skin too. After all, what lady wants to run her hands up and down your back or grab your ass during sex and feel alligator skin? I know *I* sure don’t- instant turn off!
Rough, dry “alligator” skin is not only undesirable, but it can be itchy, blotchy, and aggravating. Several things will help prevent “alligator” skin:
1) Drink more water – It’s easy to drink lots of water in the summer time; being active and outside in the heat cause perspiration that helps to create thirst. In the winter we tend to be not as active and don’t get as thirsty. Drinking at least 6 glasses of water should be a daily habit, not just something you do when you get really thirsty.
2) Moisturize – If you haven’t been moisturizing, winter is a good time to start. If you have been moisturizing but are using a water based moisturizer, it’s time to switch to an oil based moisturizer for the winter- something with primrose oil, almond oil, or mineral oil. Moisturizers containing glycerin and alpha-hydroxy are also good, as they help your skin retain moisture.
3) Exfoliate – Using an exfoliating scrub all over will slough off that layer of dead skin cells to show soft, silky, radiant skin. How often you should do this depends on your age and where you live, but once a week is a good rule of thumb. Extra dry problem areas like elbows, knees, and feet can benefit from more frequent exfoliation. Using exfoliating gloves, a bath puff, or a nubby wash cloth each time you bathe will also help keep those dead skin cells sloughed off to keep your most touchable, kissable skin shining through.
