I am back from my luxurious trip to the Hamptons with lots of fond memories! As many of you know, I recently joined the rest of the world on Facebook! I am soooo glad I did because I reconnected with a friend of mine from college whom I hadn’t seen in years. She is now quite successful and residing in Amagonsett, a gorgeous community in the Hamptons, where she invited me for a visit.

Make no mistake, this mid-western Empress appreciates and surrounds herself with the finer things in life, but my visit to the Hamptons took it to a whole new level!! We started the first night by going into the city to dine in a private dining room at the exclusive Per Se, where we spent nearly five hours enjoying a delictible nine course (that’s right NINE courses) meal of exotic mouth watering cuisine A to Z! Surprisingly, my favorite was something I had never heard of and thought sounded less than tasty- coddled eggs with black truffle puree. Mmmmm, delish!

The rest of the week was spent admiring the georgeous and obscenely expensive houses, such as those on Further Lane and attending an ostentatious party on Georgica Pond. Yes I quite enjoyed myself, but I’m afraid East Hampton and Georgica Pond are just a bit too pretentious for even my upscale (by mid-western standards) tastes.

I did enjoy a quiet, unpretentious dinner and a nice glass (or few) of my favorite Macallan scotch at Rowdy Hall, whereupon my friend, after discovering my affinity for fine scotch, surprised me when we got back to her place by cracking open a rare bottle of Glenlivet she had been saving for just the right occasion! Mmmmm, I was hooked and inquired about how one would go about acquiring a bottle. She told me it was quite rare and quite epensive, but with the right connections, I would be able to acquire a bottle for a mere few thousand dollars! ~gasp!~

I guess I will be content with my old faves, JW Blue and Macallan- which are absolutely wonderful- and am honered to have had the opportunity to even sample such a rare and expensive Glenlivet (thank you Elizabeth!)

As fun as it was, I am glad to be back home and can’t wait to hear from my cucks and sluts! I am well rested and in rare form! Give me a call if you dare!
